As usual, connect these newly created vertices using the 'Create Line' tool in 3D Studio MAX ( 3ds max ). In order to avoid making holes in the surface, start the line from the vertices of the previous circular segment - wrist (See the mouse arrow in the figure). Also end the line by connecting it with one vertex in the model / character's wrist.
